Introduction
Ideal for comfortable and autonomous cruising. Very stable boat at sea, made to face heavy weather. Boat that cuts the wave without hitting. Goes well in light winds (makes for example 5 knots in 10 knots wind). The engine has the necessary power and the propeller is made to advance against big winds and waves if needed.
Meticulously maintained, all recent systems. Built in Ontario in 1985 in Ste-Catherines. Designed by Mark Ellis.

Description
• Canadian boat all taxes paid; located at Parc nautique de Levy;
• Very solid construction; the hull must be more than one inch thick under the floors;
• Winch size 36 for the genoa (very big winch);
• Lots of internal storage in the cabins and saloon;
• Large lockers in the cockpit that easily hold fenders, mooring lines, electrical cables, etc;
• Folding cockpit table;
• The shape of the galley area allows you to lean back and cook in the sea;
• Large refrigerator of about 14 cu. ft;
• Many spare parts;
• Saloon table that can easily accommodate 6 or more people;
• Room for toilet and shower; the shower is separated from the toilet by a curtain; grey water tank for the shower under the floor with pump;
• Sleeps 6; 2 enclosed cabins and 2 full size bunks in the saloon; in addition to the enclosed lockers in each cabin, there are 2 closets in the clamp and one in the aft cabin;
• The interior lights have been converted to LED (2800k color and no blue light);
• The anchor chain is oversized; with the 20 kg Bruce anchor, this anchorage is very safe; the Emerald has already been in the bay of Tadoussac at anchor in force 8 winds with gusts exceeding 45 kn without hunting;
• Owner of the Emerald since 2013; all the equipment has been replaced, as well as the pumps and hoses; since 2013, the labor to put the Emerald in excellent condition is estimated at 150 person-days;
• The Emerald has always been carefully maintained and updated by its owner with the exception of the engine which was installed by Boulet et Lemelin and the arch which was manufactured by a factory;
