1980 Dufour 35 Sailboat. Very well maintained and updated with modern equipment over the years, this 35 footer has kept its classic sailing yacht charm. Beautiful interior woodwork, functional kitchen with propane stove and cooler converted into a refrigerator. Private back cabin (for captain), and forward cabin with double bed. Volvo diesel engine has been regularly maintained and works wonderfully.
The Cap Noir 2 has been sailing Chaleur Bay in northern New Brunswick for several years and is ready for new adventures with a new owner.
At 6 tonnes, the Dufour 35 will not bounce like a cork in an ocean swell, but the boat remains fast on its feet. The suspended saffron and encapsulated cast iron keel provide a sense of security against a brush with an unidentified floating object. And with its extra-long fin keel, the 35 is manoeuvrable, follows the trajectories well and can easily be balanced or installed under the sail.
