Spacious open interior layout. The forward center line v-berth is located over 4 drawers with port and starboard hanging lockers. The main salon has a centerline drop leaf table with a port side U-shaped settee that converts to a dbl. berth. A large nav. Station is immediately to starboard upon entry to the cabin. The Galley is to port immediately opposite this with a 3 burner propane range. The large well insulated refrigerator is cooled by an alder-barbour unit with sea water for coolant. All interior woodwork is cherry, and counter tops are Corian. All ports are opening with screens including the five deck hatches. Two dorades vents on cabin top, greatly enhance ventilation on inclement weather days. V-berth and master aft cabin have custom fitted inner spring mattresses and anti-condensation underlay.

conclusion
The Tartan 4100 hit the mark when Tim Jackett set out to create a performance cruiser. Built from 1996 until 2008, it has been the most prolific over forty foot performance cruiser in the 56-year history of Tartan. With her head turning good looks, her solid, safe construction and powerful sail plan, the Tartan 4100 is well respected for her speed and exceptional performance. Underwater her short draft keel gives her excellent stability, good righting moment and upwind performance while making shoal water cruising ( such as beautiful Bahamas) easy.

The large T-shaped cockpit has comfortable seating and primaries within easy reach of the helm. With all control lines led aft to the safety of the cockpit, she is easily handled by a couple especially with the optional electric winch. The 27 inch high lifelines, wide side decks and effective non-skid make working on deck VERY safe.

Below decks, her hand crafted teak interior and quality materials throughout display a craftsmanship that blends innovative design features with classic good looks. The two cabin layout provides comfortable accommodations for you and your guests and affords privacy in the process. The galley is spacious with loads of refrigeration area and counter space and is designed for offshore work with good bracing space and handholds.
Makasi has served us well and has consistently been professionally maintained and upgraded since 2014. She's now ready for other adventures with her new discerning owners.
